When an older home in Crown Hill in Worcester needs window repair, Worcester Window Replacement is a local contractor that takes on the work. Repairs cover foggy insulated glass units, worn balances, broken sash cords, stripped cranks and failed casement operators. A fogged double-pane window has lost its seal, and in many cases only the glass unit needs replacing rather than the whole window. Older double-hung windows with sash weights can often be brought back with new cords and pulleys instead of being torn out. The business is locally owned, and the owner handles inquiries personally.
